The Hiring and Employment Services Department governs the City’s hiring and promotion processes, as well as maintains and updates job classifications and compensation programs.
The department also monitors the performance evaluation process, coordinates the administration of valid medical standards, and conducts job analysis research for developing valid selection procedures.
