Pearl Police are working with surrounding agencies in searching for two escaped inmates from the Central Mississippi Correctional Facility in Rankin County. Law enforcement agencies are focused on an area near South. Pearson Rd and HWY 468 based on tips and investigation.
31-year-old Jonathan Blankenship and 28-year-old Christopher Benson High were discovered missing during the 7 a.m. count on Friday morning.
Both subjects are considered armed and dangerous.

Agencies involved in the search include Mississippi Bureau of Investigation, Mississippi Highway Patrol, Mississippi Department of Corrections, Mississippi Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks, Rankin County Sheriff’s Office, and the U.S. Marshal Service.
