MAYOR JAKE WINDHAM

Jake Windham is the current mayor of Pearl, Mississippi, first taking office on July 1, 2017, and re-elected for another term in 2021 and 2025. A native of Pearl and graduate of Pearl High School, he earned a Bachelor of Arts  in Criminal Justice from the University of Mississippi in 2001 and completed training at the Mississippi Law Enforcement Training Academy in 2002. 

Before entering politics, Windham served in law enforcement for 16 years with the Pearl Police Department and the Mississippi Attorney General’s office. He is guided by three core values: Christian faith, family, and community, which he cites as the foundation for his leadership style and policy priorities. 

As mayor, he has focused on strengthening schools, modernizing city infrastructure and services, expanding housing options for new homeowners, and making Pearl one of the most business‑friendly cities in Mississippi.
